CMA for sustainable business
The second CMA global management accounting summit themed CMA for
Sustainable Business is hosted by CMA Sri Lanka and co-hosted by the
Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India, Institute of Cost and
Management Accountants of Pakistan and Bangladesh with the Technical
Partners CMA Canada and Institute of Management Accountants of Sri
Lanka.
The topic of Governance and Sustainability will be the first
Technical Session that will be held on June 30 at the Cinnamon Lakeside
Colombo.
The Chairman of this session will be Kunal Banerjee a Past President
of ICWA India and will have Roger M Tabor the Chairman of the
Professional Accountants in Business of the International Federation of
Accountants speaking on Sustainable Accountants for Sustainable
Organisations. The other speakers include DGM Risk Management of Hatton
National Bank Plc Dishan Rodrigo who will speak on Enterprise Risk
Management-Framework for Sustainable Growth, and Head Sustainability DNV
Norway Santosh Jayaram who will speak on Corporate responsibility - An
active process of managing risk and seizing opportunities.
