MFR expands

Ma Foi Randstad (MFR), one of the largest integrated HR service providers in India, last week highlighted the positive growth of the Sri Lankan economy and the significant improvement of the country's GDP projection to seven percent.

This was revealed at a press briefing in Colombo, conducted by Ma Foi Management Consultants in Sri Lanka under the theme `Shaping the World of Work.

MFR is an international HR service provider servicing world class companies across the globe. Started in 1992, the company has grown into a full spectrum HR services provider for clients worldwide.

It has helped to generate career opportunities for more than 290,000 individuals in 36 countries and has worked for over 250 fortune 500 organisations.

Managing Director, Ma Foi Group and Randstad India and also CEO- Ma Foi Randstad (India and Sri Lanka), K. Pandia Rajan said Sri Lanka's seven percent GDP growth has encouraged many foreign companies to invest in Sri Lanka.

He said MFR is the second largest HR services company in the world and has had a strong presence in Sri Lanka for the past six years.

The Sri Lankan stock market is one of the best performing in Asia and there is increase in investment from Sri Lankans working abroad.

He said the Government's focus on opening business opportunities and developing infrastructure across the country including the North and East has led to create a number of job opportunities.

This will help put the country's economy back on track.

The CEO also said that their presence in the country will help businesses, who can leverage on their global expertise as an integrated HR services provider.

MFR is scheduled to open branches in Kandy, Galle and Jaffna within the next 12 months.
