Heart patient seeks help

recommended immediate surgery.

RASSL lecture
The Royal Asiatic Society of Sri Lanka (RASSL) will hold its monthly
lecture series “Laos and the Sinhalese Connections”, addressed by Dr.
Hema Goonatilake, visiting Professor of Royal University at 5.00 p.m. on
Monday June 28 at the Mahaweli Centre, 96, Ananda Coomaraswamy Mawatha,

Librarians’ AGM on June 30
The 50th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Sri Lanka Library
Association (SLFI) will be held on June 30 at the Sri Lanka Foundation
Institute (SLIT) Education Minister Bandula Gunawardene will be the
chief guest and the keynote speaker.
Prof. W.B. Dorakumbura and Ms. Mani Silva, distinguished librarians,
will be the guests of honour at the opening ceremony which will be
followed by a session of professional presentations.
