Vidura College win at badminton

BADMINTON: Vidura College Colombo beat Maliyadeva College Kurunegala in the singles and doubles in the S. L. A. Ratnayake Memorial All-Island Under 16 'D' division Badminton Tournament played at Bandarawela.

In the singles finals Vidura College beat Maliyadeva College, Kurunegala 21-16, 21-15 and 21-16. Sarith Kurukulasooriya played for Vidura College and N. G. Gunapala was Maliyadeva's Player.

In the doubles final, Vidura College beat Maliyadeva College, Kurunegala 21-18, 21-17 and 21-16. Player for Vidura College: Naveen Bandara and Rasika Liyanage while for Maliyadeva, D. Kulasiri and N. Piyadasa were the players.
