Fergalicious Fergie!

Nothing has stopped Fergie from being the hottest female who is part of the electric band known as the Black Eyed Peas. Stacy Ann Ferguson was born on March 27, 1975 being an American singer-songwriter, rapper, fashion designer and actress.

Ferguson was born in Hacienda Heights, California, the daughter of Terri Jackson (née Gore) and Patrick Ferguson. She is of Mexican, Irish, Scottish and Native American descent. She studied dance and began to do voice-over work, providing the voice for Sally in two made-for-television Peanuts cartoons and from 1984 to 1989, she starred on the TV show Kids Incorporated. All that time, she was a cheerleader, straight-A student and a spelling bee champion, as well as a Girl Scout.

Ferguson was a member of the female trio Wild Orchid, which she fronted with Stefanie Ridel and fellow Kids Incorporated star Renee Sandstrom. Wild Orchid released two albums, but after completing a third album, their record label declined to release it, and she left the group shortly thereafter. One thing she took after her time there was her addiction to crystal meth.

It was during the whole “Where is the Love?” single where Justin Timberlake joined where Fergie got a taste of the Black Eyed Peas where there was a supposed link between her and the ‘Sexyback’ singer. She then got together with fellow Black Eyed Peas member apl.de.ap. when William Adams (will.i.am) invited Ferguson to try out for a song called “Shut Up”. She got the gig and instantly bonded with the trio, going on to record five additional songs on the album and became a permanent member of the band.

Her debut solo album, The Dutchess, was released on September 19, 2006. The album’s name is a misspelled variant of the title of Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, with whom Ferguson shares a surname and popular nickname.

The album is similar in style to that of the Black Eyed Peas, as fellow Peas member will.i.am is the album’s executive producer. “Big Girls Don’t Cry” became Ferguson’s first worldwide number-one single, and is her most successful single to date. After releasing her debut solo album, The Dutchess she and the Black Eyed Peas in late March 2009 released their song “Boom Boom Pow” from the album The E.N.D. (Energy Never Dies), which went to number-one in the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 charts, the group’s first chart topper. Ferguson and actor Josh Duhamel met and began dating in September 2004. The two married in January 2009 and are planning to have a baby in 2010.
