Women Artists' Colloquium Exhibition at Pitakotte
An exhibition entitled "Omnipresence will be held from July 25 to
August 3 at
Theertha Red Dot Gallery, 36 A, Baddagana Road South, Pitakotte.
The works of artists Sajeewani Hewawitharana, Manori Jayasinghe,
Priyanthi Anusha,
Shamila Priyadarshani, Therica Miyanadeniya, Janani Cooray, Lakisha
Fernando, Krishanthi Uluvitage, Inoka De Silva will feature in the
exhibition.
Tissa Abeysekara Memorial lecture

Amara Hewamadduma will deliver the memorial lecture at the Tissa
Abeysekara commemoration ceremony at the National Film Corporation's
cinema hall, Colombo 7 on July 29 at 3.30 p.m. NFC Chairman Kumar
Abeysinghe will preside over the ceremony. Sunil Mihindukula's "Cinema
Sanskruthika Pragnaya" a Lake House publication, will also be launched
on the occasion. Tissa Abeysekara's 'Viragaya' will be screened at the
end of the ceremony.
