who will be flown in for an exclusive one night performance on September
18, that should not be missed. Mystere Entertainment Lanka will be

the Sunday Observer which moves into the entertainment forefront with
this unforgettable presentation.
The Fab Beatles, the industry's choice and considered the ultimate
standard to aspire to by other acts are, to quote Michael Parkinson of
the BBC, "truly fab and I know because I saw the other lot" Well that's
saying a lot! Which is why it is important that you don't miss the show.
The Fab Beatles ensure a pure and accurate re-creation. They use only
authentic instruments and costume and comprise Kev Dave as John Lennon -
guitar/piano/harmonica/vocals; Andy Southard as Paul Mc Cartney -
bass/vocals and Pete Isbell as Ringo Star - drums/vocals.
The UK's No.1 Beatles Tribute Band are currently on tour in Europe
and will be busy till February 2011. This month they performed to
crowded houses in Switzerland and Holland - two big dates in their
itinerary and are now on tour in Europe.
W e
understand that the band members are looking forward to meeting Sri
Lankan fans to enjoy a fantastic evening in their company on the night
of their performance on September 18 at the Sri Lanka Exhibition and
Convention Centre.
The Fab Beatles pride themselves on professionalism and attention to
detail and it is well accepted in the UK that the Fab's sound is the
closest you will ever hear to the originals.
Paul from the Chicago Rock Cafe, Swansea had this to say after the
band's magical performance.
"The songs speak for themselves, but the way they were delivered one
hit and slice of history after another..... I shut my eyes and just
listened. It was as if the real Beatles were there. "George" sang 'Roll
Over Beethoven' just like Harrison. His nifty lead guitar work was
brilliant. All the little bits we are so used to Harrison playing, this
'George' did them just as well! Listening to 'Ringo' you'd never believe
it!
The drumming was perfect, holding each song together. The song that
really thrilled me was watching 'Ringo' play the tambourine introduction
to 'Day Tripper' on his drums! 'Paul' - I shut my eyes and I could hear
Mc Cartney, his voice and mannerisms!
"Can't Buy Me Love", 'She Loves You' and 'Lady Madonna' were some of
the highlights. I've left 'John' to the last because he does not only
look like, acts like, he even sounds like Lennon. And when 'John' played
the keyboard- he was something else!
The finale "Twist and Shout" completes John's 2002isms, that were
politically correct in 2002 but would never have been said in the 60s -
really left us all screaming for more!" |
