Sri Lanka Insurance pays Rs. 34.2m claim
Sri Lanka Insurance (SLI) honoured claim settlements amounting to Rs.
34.2m under the Corporation's Business Club Insurance Cover recently.

The beneficiaries were Davidson Tea Factory in Galle and Mathugama
Sarasaviya Stores, who received claim settlements amounting to Rs. 31.5m
and 2.7m respectively.
These claims were paid for a accidental fire at the premises.
Chairman, Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation Gamini Senarath said 'Sri

Proprietor of Davidson Tea Factory H.D. Kanthiratne said that he has
been a customer of Sri Lanka Insurance for over 30 years and has
complete confidence in the Corporation. Vice President of the Ceylon
Quality Tea Producers Association G.L.C. Gunathilake, said that he is
happy at the claim paying ability and the service standards of Sri Lanka
Insurance.
Sri Lanka Insurance follows accurate claim assessing procedures
through its expert assessing panel to ensure that customers receive just
and fair settlements.
Correct governance procedures, strong reinsurance arrangements and an
asset base of over Rs. 71b endorses Sri Lanka Insurance as the strongest
insurer in the country.
