Vihara Maha Devi Balika Vidyalaya and Trinity U.19 girls and boys football champ

FOOTBALL: Vihara Maha Devi Balika Vidyalaya, Kandy emerged champions (Under 19 Girls) in the football tournament while Trinity College, Kandy won the Under 19 boys tournament conducted by the Dept. of Education (Central Province) held at the Bogambara Grounds recently.

Under 17 Boys: Champion-Jinaraja College, Gampola, runners-up - Wickremabahu College, Gampola, 3rd Place Zahira College, Gampola.

Under 19 Boys: Champions - Trinity College, Kandy, runners-up - St.Sylvester's College, Kandy, 3rd Place Kingswood College, Kandy.

Under 19 Girls: Champions - Vihara Maha Devi Balika, Kandy, runners-up - Pilimatalawa MMV, 3rd Place, Ambatenna MMV.
