National Sports Festival put off for Oct. 30, 31 and Nov. 1

SPORTS FESTIVAL: The 36th National Sports Festival which was scheduled to be held in September this year has been put off for October 30, 31 and November 1 'due to unavoidable circumstances' according to officials.

So far the following events have been completed.

(Marathon Men's) Team Championship: 1. North Western Province, Marathon Women's: 1. North Western Province, 2. Western Province.

Walking Race - Men's Championship: 1. Central Province, 2. North Western Province, 3. Southern Province.

Walking Race - Women's Championship: 1. Southern Province, 2. North Western Province, 3. Sabaragamuwa Province.
