Invitation Schools Relay Carnival at Royal College - Oct. 9

ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS: Royal College Union has organised an Invitation Athletics Relay Carnival to commemorate the 175th Anniversary of the school on October 9 at College Grounds, Reid Avenue.

Sri Lanka's leading boys and girls schools have been invited for the meet. In the boys relays, besides Royal College, the other schools will be S. Thomas' College, Mount Lavinia, Ananda, Nalanda, St. Joseph's, St. Peter's, Trinity and Maris Stella College. Among the girls schools: Visakha, Ladies College, Bishop's College, Holy Family Convent, Bambalapitiya, Musaeus, Methodist St. Bridget's Sirimavo Balika Vidyalaya will battle for honours.

Besides the events for schools, there will be invitation relays for clubs (men and women). The Army, Navy, Air Force, Police, CT and FC, Ace Athletic Club, Track Masters and Sri Lak Athletic Club have been invited to participate.
