Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT) was recently awarded ISO 9001:2008

The SLT Call Centre is another important customer touch point,
providing services such as customer complaint handling, information on
SLT products and services and operator assistance on local and
international calls and telegram services. The main office of the SLT
Call Centre is located in Colombo with four regional branches in Kandy,
Galle, Anuradhapura and Matara.
CEO of SLT Greg Young said, "The telecommunication industry in Sri
Lanka has seen tremendous competition. We compete on a platform of
quality - to deliver superior services to customers.
The implementation of ISO 9001:2008 will help to streamline SLT
activities and encourage improvement for the benefit of our customers".
