Under 15 Basketball:

Gateway registers three successive wins

Basketball: Gateway College Colombo girls have excelled at the Under 15 Inter International School Basketball tournament organised by Colombo International School be recording 3 straight wins.

They beat Lyceum Wattala by 25 to 13. Gateway led 10-8 at half time. The best shooters for Gateway were Hirushee Soyza (09) and Pasini Withanage (6).

Gateway recorded a convincing win over British School Colombo by 22 to 02.

At the short whistle Gateway was ahead with 12 to 01. Pasini Withanage with 9 points and Shanili Ranatunga 05 were the best shooters for Gateway.

The third win for Gateway was against Royal Institute, quite easily with the same margin of 22 - 02. Gateway led 10- 0 at half-time. Gateway's Captain Passini Withanage scored 12 points and Shanuka Wakkumbura scored 08.
