Youth in East cautioned against bogus job agents

Deputy Minister of Resettlement Vinayagamoorthi Muralitharan cautioned youth in the Eastern Province to be vigilant of fraudulent job agents who collect huge sums of money, promising employment, in the Eastern Province.

During interviews for recruitment for jobs in the province, such persons collect lakhs of rupees from each youth promising them lucrative jobs.

Some youth who were thus cheated have complained to Deputy Minister Muralitharan.

The Deputy Minister assured employment opportunities for all in the Eastern Province on the basis of their qualifications.

He cautioned the youth in the Eastern Province not to get carried away by fraudulent persons who play dirty tricks on unsuspecting youth.
