All set for SUNDAY OBSERVER:
Fashion Designer of the Year 2010 contest
The stage is set for the grand finale of the Sunday Observer Fashion
Designer of the Year contest to be held at the BMICH on Saturday (16) at
6 p.m.
Some of the latest creative fashions will be presented at the grand
finale under different categories - office wear, eveningwear, saree wear
and sportswear.
It would be another memorable evening for all those who have a
passion for fashion designing in a creative world. Singer Sri Lanka is
the principal sponsor of the show, hosted by the Sunday Observer. Graham
Anderson takes a close lead in the penultimate round of voting in the
Most Popular Designer contest with 2,427 votes.
In second place is Akshari Punchinilame with 2,388 votes, followed by
Dimithra Sahabandu 2,277.
The voting would conclude on Thursday by 12 noon. A limited number of
tickets for the show, compered by Cliff Richards and presented by
