Sri Lanka's Shehan Ambepitiya had one of his best days here at New Delhi, going beyond the barrier of his personal bests twice. Shehan who had his personal best time as 21.19 seconds before the Delhi Games, bettered it quite easily in the first round of the men's 200m at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium clocking 21.17 seconds. Doing his best on a good track that has already produced several games records, Shehan bettered the 21.17 second performance with a new personal best of 21.12 seconds and was placed third in the quarter finals to qualify for today's semi-finals.
