Seeta Devi B. V. and St. Sylvester's win

HOCKEY:Seeta Davi Balika Vidyalaya won the Girls Hockey Championship while St. Sylvester's College, Kandy emerged boys champions in the Under 15 Hockey Tournaments organised by the Kandy Municipal Playgrounds Department last weekend at St. Anthony's Girls College Grounds, Katugastota.

In the girls tournament, Seeta Devi Balika were the champions with Gothami Balika, Kandy were runners-up and St. Anthony's Girls, Katugastota came third. Among the boys, St. Sylvester's Kandy were champions with Kingswood College, Kandy - the runners-up and Trinity College, Kandy were placed third.

Mayor Suminda Wickramasinghe and Municipal Commissioner Chandana Tennekoon distributed the awards.
