Man nabbed with 42 stolen mobile phones

A man who had stolen 42 mobile phones from commuters who travelled in buses between Wellawatte and Dehiwela on the Galle Road was taken into custody along with the stolen phones, by the Mount Lavinia Special Crime Investigation Unit, the Police Media Spokesman SP Prishantha Jayakody told the Sunday Observer.

He said that some of the mobile phones which had been recovered were handed over to the Mount Lavinia police station.
