Bren Security expands to Jaffna

Bren Security MD, Major Tissa Aluvihare and Oriflame MD, Pierre Martensson, approach their joint Jaffna branch office.

After almost 20 years of business, Bren Security (Pvt) Ltd has opened its first branch in the centre of Jaffna city and shares it with one of its clients, the Swedish Cosmetics company, Oriflame.

Managing Director, Major Tissa Aluwihare, and his German wife, Wege - a Management Consultant, have high hopes for the economic development in the North. "It is a historical moment. The country has been united after three decades. It should be the responsibility of every individual to work towards the prosperity and well being of the people of the North. We as a service provider are keen to demonstrate our commitment to bridging gaps between the South and the North by injecting business activity into strategic locations. Jaffna and its people have a lot of potential to offer investors ready to do business in a committed, professional manner," they said.

Bren Security recently merged with Securitas AB, a Swedish listed company. Bren operates in Mannar, Trincomalee, Batticaloa and Ampara and will open a branch office in Vavuniya soon.
