Mada Ayama Viya

Titus Ranasinghe's Sinhala teledrama entitled "Mada Ayama Viya' will
be telecast on Rupavahini everyday at 7.27 p.m.
The cast include Sanath Wimalasiri, Dhananjaya Siriwardane,
Anuruddhika Padukkage, Grace Ariyawimal, Vasantha Kumarasiri, Wijeyratne
Warakagoda, Sarath Dikkumbura, Nanda Wickramage, Nelson Wimalasiri and
Gamini Jayalath.
Exhibition of paintings and book launch

Weerakkodige Vasantha Perera will held an exhibition of paintings at
the Lionel Wendt Art Gallery Colombo 7 from November 5-7. The exhibition
will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
"Kandy-a sketch book" written by him will be launched on the same
occasion.
International Dance Festival:
National Ranking Championship
A Mega Western Dance Festival is on the cards, to celebrate 5 years
of fruitful dancing of the Ballroom Dancers Federation International Sri
Lanka.
At the 3rd Dance Festival a new concept - Showcase Dance 2010 will be
one of the highlights with participants from Asia Pacific Region.
The Performing Arts Section of the Federation BDFI Swingers presents
the National Line and Hip Hop Championships for the 3rd successive year.
This year's event is augmented by the inclusion of Belly Dance
Competition for newcomers and an International Belly Dance segment.
The ANCL Group is official print media partner.
The juveniles and juniors will vie for the Ritzbury Trophy while the
Open Segment is sponsored by Telepix. Over three hundred entries are
expected for this exciting event coming up this December. |
