Tamil Forum to finalise proposals
by P. Krishnaswamy
The Tamil Parties Forum (TPF), comprising 10 parties, will finalise
its proposals in the next few days to be submitted to the Government as
a solution to the Tamil issue, leader of the Tamil National Liberation
Alliance (TNLA) M.K. Sivajilingam told the Sunday Observer.
The TPA?s repeated efforts, including invitations signed by their 10
parties and handed over personally, have not been possible to get them
to join the process, said the former TNA parliamentarian who broke away
and founded the TNLA. Asked whether they would join the TPF for
discussions TNA General Secretary Mavai Senadhirajah MP said that they
were elected by the people and had their own policy on what kind of
solution the Tamils needed.
