Netball and TT finals today

The 36th National Games, Table Tennis and Netball championships commenced at the Peradeniya Gymnasium and Peradeniya Campus grounds yesterday. Following are the results of the events worked out on the first day.

Table Tennis (Women)

Southern Province beat Northern Province 3-0.

North Western Province beat Eastern Province 3-0.

Central Province received walk-over from Uva Province.

(Men)

Western Province beat Eastern Province 3-0.

Central Province beat Northern Province 3-0.

Southern Province received walk-over from

Uva Province.

Netball

Northern Province beat North Central Province 85/24.

Southern Province beat Sabaragamuwa Province 59/24.

North Western Province beat Uva Province 53/26.

Finals are scheduled to be held today at the same venue.
