Battle of the Saints Cricket Carnival - 2010

"Battle of the Saints" - the Josephian Batch of '99' together with the 1995 - 2000 Batches of St. Peter's College present the "Battle of the Saints Cricket Carnival" on November 27 at St. Joseph's College Grounds, Colombo 10 from 12.30 p.m. The organisers said this event revives the school spirit of bygone years. It commences in 2008 as the brainchild of the Josephian batch of '99' to mark their fifth anniversary.

For the first time the Battle of the Saints Cricket Carnival will be a day-night event, creating a carnival atmosphere with attractions for the entire family. The participation of over 32 teams is anticipated with a crowd of 1,000.

Apart from the cricketing action the carnival will be enriched with fun activities and competitions for the whole family.

A Bouncer, Face Painting, Magic Balloons, a Bubbke Machine and fun rides will keep the children entertained, the organisers said. Housing construction company Ranhomes is the official main sponsor of the Battle of the Saints Cricket Carnival - 2010 Old boys from both colleges (batch of 2010 included) are invited to register their side-a-side teams with Shamira (0773064805), Rajitha (0773957364), Dinuk (0777686390), Hirantha (0772246550) whilst Petes can register with Sanushka (0777915241), Zakir (0777297928), Chirshantha (0715344326), Uditha (0777712052).
