Lahiru bags all ten wkts

Left-arm spinner Lahiru Wijesinghe captured all ten wickets for 24 runs to spearhead Sri Chandananda Buddhist College to a first inning win over D.S. Senanayake College, Kandy in their schools under-13 cricket tournament match played at Galagedera ground yesterday.

Lahiru wijesinghe who bowled with a lot of accuracy had fine figures of 12-4-24-10.

In reply to Sri Chandananda's score of 192 D.S. Senanayake College could muster only 80.

Sri Chandananda Buddhist College 192 for 2 wickets (A.D. Gunasekera 46, S.I. Ranasingeh 59 not out, K.A. Jayasinghe 67 not out.

D.S. Senanayake: 80 all out in 34 overs (D.R. Perritt 14, L.S. Supun 17, N.D. Dilshan 15, Lahiru Wijesinghe 10 for 24) and 46 for 3 wickets in 17 overs (Lahiru Wijesinghe 1 for 15).
