UKAAYE Card Centre turns 15

The 15th anniversary of UKAAYE popularly known as the Home for
wedding cards was held last week in Colombo together with a felicitation
ceremony and raffle draw. Managing Director UKAAYE S. Sivakumar presided
over the event with the retired Supreme Court Judge, Justice C. V.
Wigneswaran as the chief guest and Kambawarithi E. Jeyaraj as guest of
honour.

A promotion introduced recently entails two lucky customers to air
tickets every month.
Two newly married couples who purchased wedding invitation cards from
UKAAYE won tickets to visit South India. During the first month winners
were Mr. & Mrs. Niroshan Mahasumethai of Batticaloa and Mr. & Mrs.
Sivapala Muhunthan of Vavuniya.
Managing Director, UKAAYE S. Sivakumar, appreciated the hard work of
the employees who contributed to the growth of the organisation.
Employees with long service and the best employee would be felicitated
every year. This year's award winners for long service were C.
Jesuthasan and B. Anthony while V. Sugadevan won the award for best
service.
Having begun operation on a small scale in 1996 UKAAYE Card Centre
grown with its head office at No. 333 and 335 Sea Street and a branch
office at No. 94, Galle Road, Wellawatte. |
