Sri Lanka Telecom Mobitel has partnered DFCC Vardhana Bank (DVB)to
enable customers to pay their Mobitel bills at any of the Bank's
branches saving their time and money. Transactions done at any DVB
counter will be updated online immediately in the Mobitel data base.
CEO of DVB Lakshman Silva, at the signing of the agreement said "DVB
has 115 service centers and service points to enable customers to access
the bank and its services. The branch network is strengthened by DVB's
Postal units, offered through the SL postal network and aims to provide
formal banking facilities to customers in rural areas." The Bank has
been assigned an AA- (lka) Fitch Rating denoting the strong capability
of timely payments of financial commitments. CEO of Sri Lanka Telecom
Mobitel Suren J. Amarasekera said "It is a privilege for Mobitel to
