Dettol soaps relaunched

Dettol, the leading brand of Reckitt Benckiser and a global leader in the health and hygiene category recently launched its range of improved Dettol soaps, promising consumers everyday protection through a refreshing, germ free bath.

The Dettol soaps comes in a unique shape giving its users the ease of handling, while the new fragrance and moisturisers offer consumers the benefit of a pleasant and refreshing bath.

"This year is special for Dettol, as it celebrates 50 years of protection in Sri Lanka, and amongst our initiatives to contribute towards a healthy Sri Lanka, we have also introduced a series of new products, formats and other product enhancements to offer consumers protection from germs - and peace of mind, said Marketing Director of Reckitt Benckiser, Zakaria Ahmed.

"Dettol soap is available in four fragrances, and three different pack sizes, to serve consumers with different needs and preferences. Consumers have choices such as, Original soap for an antibacterial bath, Skincare soap for beautiful healthy skin, Cool soap with cooling menthol and Fresh soap that gives a refreshing bath.

Soaps are made to a special formulation that offers consumers the benefit of germ kill, and protection against disease causing germs" explained Shameena Pallie Senior Brand Manager, Dettol.

In addition to soaps, Dettol markets a range of products - Dettol Antiseptic Liquid, Handwash, Plaster, Instant hand-sanitizer and Shaving cream.

"We are pleased to be part of the Dettol franchise, and proud to be associated with a brand such as Dettol, because it doesn't just offer products, it offers consumers value, peace of mind and a germ free lifestyle, which in turn helps make a healthy society" commented traders who carry the brand in their retail stores.

Dettol has received positive feedback on its 'Dettol Protects' campaign, an initiative to spread the message of hygiene and create awareness across Sri Lanka.
