TABLE TENNIS: There is an up-and-coming table tennis player 7-year-old Nadil Gamage who seems to be going places in the game. Recently, Nadil was a keen participant where boys under 8 years from Colombo and Gampaha participated.

In the first tournament in Kandana at De Mazenod College Stadium and then he won the under 8 tournament singles at Viharamahadeni Balika Vidyalaya, Kiribathgoda. Nadil Gamage impressed a great deal with the array of perfectly executed shots and he holds out the promise of climbing the ladder of success as he is keen student of the game. He is coached by former Sri Lanka champion player Lalith Perera.
