Henry Steele Olcott cricket tournament at Galle

CRICKET: Col. Henry Steele Olcott Memorial Cricket Tournament which started in 1999, has become very popular between the Old Boys of leading Buddhist Schools i.e. Ananda, Nalanda, Dharmaraja, Maliyadeva, Mahinda, Dharmasoka, Rahula (Matara) and Dharmapala will be held this year too.

This year's tournament is organised by Old Boys of Mahinda College, Galle and will be played at the Galle Esplanade on December 10,11 and 12 this year.

Besides the Old Boys tournament, there is a tournament for present schoolboys too.

Last year, Old Anandians won the old boys tournament with Maliyadeva College as runners-up. In the tournament for schoolboys, Nalanda won with Ananda as runners-up.
