State Services Athletic Meet in Central Province Nov. 29

ATHLETICS: The State Services Athletic Meet for Central Province will be held on November 29 at the Bogambara Grounds starting at 8.30 a.m. Around 250 competitors from Department of Education, Corporative Small Industries, agriculture, plantations, textile etc will participate in the meet. Last year, the team championship was won by Department of Education, Kandy.

The awards ceremony will be held under the patronage of Governor of Central Province Tikiri Kobbekaduwa. The Chief Minister Sarath Ekanayake and Ms. Anusha Sivaraja - the Minister of Sports (CP) will also be present.
