Eeann bespoke celebrates 20 years in tailoring

Pioneers of the concept of bespoke tailoring, Eeann celebrated 20 years of producing hand-sewn suits of the highest quality recently.

For twenty years, Eeann has ensured that their customers look and feel best in their impeccably tailored suits that are a skilful blend of perfection in terms of cut, fit, style and colour.

Eeann was established by Wailim Mei popularly know as William Mei from Singapore along with his brother Vincent Mei. In 2006, the company was acquired by Saeed Ahamed, who was later joined by Directors Abdul Gafoor and Thabit Samad.

When picking their choice of suit, customers are presented an extensive range of wool fabrics from Italy and England, imported from Thailand, Hong Kong and Singapore, while shirt material can be selected from the variety of Irish linen and Egyptian cotton available. High-quality accessories are bought from Germany.

Eeann also tailors formal and casual wear for both gents and ladies. "Our prime objective was for Eeann to produce 100 percent quality suits. Some view suits as being uncomfortable, due to thick fabric lining and other inner works. However, this is an outfit worn on a daily basis in certain countries.

Therefore, suits need to be comfortable, and we strive to do that," explained Director Saeed Ahamed.

Eeann also undertakes tailoring with material provided by the customer. Quality is never compromised. Customers are offered quality designs, on-time delivery and assured a high-level of satisfaction.

Eeann adopts a unique method of stitching that results in a perfect stitch. A bespoke garment requires long hours of tailoring and an individual tailor takes charge of the total product. Therefore, every single suit is a labour of love, which can be designed and stitched within a day if a customer requires.

Another convenient service at Eeann is that customer detail cards are maintained for as long as 15 years enabling the customer to refer to a previous design, material used at any given time, as well as measurements.

At the core of Eeann 's success is the team of skilled tailors and designers, some of whom have been working with the company since inception.

Among them is W Tomson Zoysa, trained by William and Vincent Mei, one of the best master cutters in the country with over 25 years of experience in tailoring.
