Glamour stakes countdown begins

With six days more to go the excitement hots up among the contestants for Ms Lanka 2010. Fifteen contestants after a gruelling period of training have transformed themselves into beauties and the judges sure will have a difficult time to pick out the winner. The competition as to who will wear the two glittering crowns grows with intensity. So make sure you are there on December 11 to witness the lovely ladies vying for the crown.

The past few days and next week until the day of the show, the contestants will continue to be trained by Rochelle Fox and Shayana Seneviratne under the guidance of the acknowledged choreographer Jith Pieris. The contestants know they must not falter while displaying their charms on the runway.

The final, believe me is going to be an extravaganza that will be hard to beat. Technique International is going all out to make it a memorable one. Colour themes, dance items, a fashion show and more exciting entertainment have been planned out. Talking of colour themes the Ms Asia 2011 will be launched in an ambience of the colour red which spells passion, enjoyment and success! Combined with the colourful shades of the beautiful embroidered saris worn by the contestants, the evening will take your breath away and will be one to be talked of in the days to come.

The co-ordinators to ensure that this pageant moves through with success will be Mrs. M. Jabeer, Lucille Dahanayake, Kanthi Basnayake, Anne Gunasekera, Asoka Casiechetty together with Gwendoline Kuhatheva, Organiser of Ms Lanka 2010. Yesterday Ms Designer was held at the Liberty Plaza. Today we feature the contestants in their black and white cloth and jacket outfits.
