Central Province Champions of Champions Softball Cricket today

SOFTBALL CRICKET: Central Province Champions of Champions (Champion teams of each AGA Division) Six-a-side Softball Cricket Tournament organised by the Central Province Sports Ministry will be held today (19th Sunday) commencing at 8.30 a.m. at the Asgiriya International Stadium. All the champion teams of the respective AGA Divisions are participating in this tournament.

The teams in the fray: Kandy, Harispattuwa, Kundasale, Medadumbara, Panwila, Minipe, Pasbage Korale (Nawalapitiya), Pathadumbara, Pujapitiya, Galagedara, Uda Dumbara, Uda Palatha, Udu Nuwara, Yati Nuwara, Doluwa, Deltota, Karalliyadde, Akurana, Kandy 4 Gravets and Hasalaka.

On the instructions of the Secretary of Ministry of Sports (CP) Shirani Weerakoon, the Director of Sports (CP) H.G. Ariyaratne, along with other Sports Officers of Central Province will organise this tournament.

The Governor of Central Province, Tikiri Kobbekaduwa will be the Chief Guest and distribute the awards. Anusha Sivaraja, Minister of Sports (CP) and Sarath Ekanayake, Chief Minister too will be present on this occasion.
