ETI to build 35 luxury villas for Havicus
Havicus Sri Lanka a partner company of the Havicus Group, is active
in real estate development in Europe, Morocco and now in Sri Lanka.
A main characteristic of Havicus projects is thoroughness and an
extremely high level of finishing.
The name Havicus originates from the Dutch word 'havik', which means
'hawk' in English. Just like the bird, the company also has an elevated
sense of sight, perfectly reflected in its international baseline
'connecting sharp-eyed visions'.Chairman and principal shareholder
Belgian born Alain Tijtgat - ensures this high level of sharpness on
every level on a daily basis. Being a Master in Accounting and Taxation,
Master in Economics, Master in Industrial and Quality Management and
Senior Marketing Professional he makes sure that the advice the clients
receive reaches far beyond the merely architectural side of building a
house. Belgian architect-engineer Deviaene - also a partner of Havicus
Sri Lanka - takes care of the design of the houses. Western and Eastern
standards, uses and specific characteristics are continuously mixed into
a perfect symbiosis. Belgian partner Raf Dejonckheere is Finance and
Administration Manager.
Edirisinghe Trust Investments (ETI) was chosen by Havicus out of over
10 contractors competing for the contract for building the first of many
exceptional villas in Sri Lanka. The choice was made based on standards
and expectations and they chose the best. The passion, dedication and
professionalism of ETI enchanted them. Havicus said that 90 percent of
European contractors can learn a lot from ETI.The first project starts
in Matara Fort with Kalpitiya and Trincomalee to follow. The target
group is mainly the exigent foreign market looking for a high quality
contemporary house as well as the local market.
