Sahana Seva Piyasa to assist house builders

The National Housing Development Authority (NHDA) will set up Sahana Seva Piyasa units in all district offices from next January to assist house builders, said Chairman NHDA Jayantha Samaraweera.

On the instructions of Construction, Engineering Services, Housing and Common Amenities Minister Wimal Weerawansa the Sahana Seva Piyasa units will provide loans and other auxiliary services to house builders, he said.

The trained Sahana Seva Piyasa staff at the NHDA head office and district offices will extend their services in all aspects of construction and upgrading of houses, Samaraweera said.
