Next Deyata Kirula exhibition in Badulla

The Deyata Kirula exhibition will be held from February 04 to 10 in
Badulla next year, where the Eastern Province Local Government
Department will secure an opportunity to showcase their achievements.
The Eastern Province which had been neglected for nearly three
decades is returning to prosperity and sustainable development with
self-sufficiency.
The Local Government Department of Eastern Province is engaged in the
process of finalising the arrangements for the proposed Deyata Kirula
exhibition which is scheduled to be held at Badulla coincide 63rd
independence day celebrations next year.
According to Local Government Commissioner M.Uthayakumar, the Eastern
Province Local Government Department will showcase the talents,
achievements and future plans of the Local Government Institutions in
the province.
Uthayakumar expressed confidence that this year's exhibition stall
which is to come up with modern features would attract a large number of
spectators.
He noted that the stall would reflect the future plans and new
tactics of the department which would come in to practice in the future.
The Local Government institutions in Batticaloa, Ampara and
Trincomalee Districts are engaged in the preparation works for the
exhibition, he added. |
