RASSL calls for papers for research confab

The fourth annual research conference organised by the Royal Asiatic Society Sri Lanka (RASSL) will be held on March 25, 26.

The confab will also launch the first Philosophy Studies Conference and host the third Sinhala Studies Conference. Papers may be presented in Sinhala and English. Abstracts of papers should not exceed 350 words and must include title, author(s), affiliation, address, tel/fax, e-mail address (if available), and sent by e mail to [email protected] as attachment in word, or by fax to Fax No. 2699249 or by post to the Secretary, Royal Asiatic Society, Mahaveli Center, 96 Ananda Coomaraswamy Mawatha, Colombo 7.

Please mention whether your abstract falls under category (a) Sinhala Studies (b) Philosophy Studies or (c) General. A committee of scholars will select the papers and acceptance will be notified later.

Deadline for submission of abstracts: December 30; Notification of acceptance: 20 January 2011;

Submission of full papers: 15 February 2011.

Participation is open to the public.
