Love-Slave turns flowery
Sa-jeet, the Love-Slave, was in a belligerent mood at a wedding party
of a Pradeshiya Sabha Em Pee at Weboda. When he finished singing popular
Clarence Wijewardena' number, Malata bambareku se, a fellow Em Pee
questioned Love-Slave who his new 'flower' is.
Taking for a good ride
Love-Slave's lust for power has increased after the Green convention.
Some Green Em Pees are pretending that they are supporting the son of
the ex-Prez, but hardly any of them are going to vote for him if an
election is called. Even Gingerly-Tha has cautioned Love-Slave that the
support visible for the reformists is not the actual when it comes to a
vote to elect the leader.
Closed door discussions
Doc Jay Jay and Ga-Yanta are slowly taking a 'U' turn assuming that
Love-Slave would oust Ra-Blue. But only a handful of seniors are aware
of what is in store. My-Lick has a master plan which would make
reformists eat humble pie. Closed door discussions are on at the Lane
that is Fifth and the majority has pledged support for Ra-Blue at any
party election.
Bell Boys conspire
The Bell Boys' politburo met at Pelawatte recently and discussed how
to gain a political advantage out of cost-of-living. "Normally, prices
of commodities tend to go up during any festive season. So we must paint
a gloomy picture and attempt to take maximum political mileage out of
it," Lull-Kanth said. |
