A message for the New Year:

Plan all your work

The new year is the best time to take a fresh breath and commence our new work. When a new year dawns, we step forward with lots of hope and dreams, into the future.

When we ponder about the year that has passed, we may realise that we have missed out on some of our work and goals. But our lives won’t be successful if we work during this year too in the same manner.

If we had planned the work to be done in the past year at the very beginning, we would have been able to be happy at the end of the year at our achievements. However, if we did not do so, we would see that we have failed to reach our goals.

So dear friends, what should you do to solve this problem even during this new year? I think making a time table is the most appropriate answer for this question. But is it only that? No! Just making a time table will not help. You must also work according to it.

Some students always claim that they have “no time” to complete most of their work. I think that is because they don’t manage their day well. If one manages time well, one can always complete one’s work for the day.

If I asked you whether you are working according to a time table, most of you would tell me ‘yes’ at once.

This is because we work according to a time table at school. But how many of you have thought of spending the remaining time of the day according to a time table yet??? I hope you will do so, not only to study, but also to do other work. Remember to allocate a little time for playing too in your time table.

In the New Year, you can start your daily work very early. It is better if you could wake up very early and commence your work in a cheerful spirit.

The morning is the best time during the day to start work. So, do some studies too before you go to school in the morning. After attending school and classes, you should engage in homework in the evening. Before you go to bed, you can recall what you did each day, and be glad. Don’t miss out on your homework.

Whenever you are free, focus your attention on some creative activity. It will assist you to be a creative person and develop inherent talents. You can write a poem, read more, help your mother and all the others with household chores, learn new things and play too.

If you work according to a time table in the months ahead as I have said, you will succeed in achieving your goals during this New Year.
