Basketball Nationals Jan.14 to 17 in Kandy

BASKETBALL: Twenty men's teams and twelve womens teams have entered for the Basketball Nationals conducted by the Sri Lanka Basketball Federation from the 14th to 17th January, 2011 at five venues.

The venues are as follows: Kingswood Basketball Courts, St.Anthony's Balika Basketball Courts, Hillwood Girls College Basketball Courts, St.Anthony's College Basketball Courts and Trinity College Basketball Courts. Anoma Karunaratne, K.P. Chandrasiri, Ayoma Jayasuriya, Buddhine Amarasinghe, Jeewani Wilathgamuwa, Anuradha Wijesinghe, Aruni Hemakumari, Keerthi Abeywickrema, Thamara Gamage, Samanthi Abeysinghe, Narendra de Silva, Samanmalee Jayasekera, Thanuja Nilanthi Wijesinghe and Madhubashini Karunaratne, the officials of the Central Province Basketball Association along with the officials of the Sri Lanka Basketball Federation will officiate at this tournament.Prize distribution will be held under the patronage of Sarath Ekanayake _ the Chief Minister of Central Province & the President of the Sri Lanka Basketball Federation.
