St. Mary's College, Kegalle scored a thrilling five cricket win over St. Patricks College, Jaffna in their schools under-19 cricket tournament match concluded at Public Ground, Kegalle.

Match winner for St. Mary's College was Kevin Galdeniya who stroked an entertaining 91 with 10 fours and a six off only 71 balls.

St. Patricks: 147 all out in 49 overs (W.C.L. Livingston 30, J. Alastin 23, S. Rishan 19, J.P. Eric Pratap 11, Prince Jayakumar 6 for 35, Malinda Gunaratne 3 for 68) and 174 for 9 declared (S. Rishan 23, D. Ugabalan 31, M. Jegan 24, Eric Pratap 25, Justin Gration 18, C. Clindston 17, Malinga Gunaratne 6 for 44, Prince Jeyakumar 2 for 17).

St. Mary's: 149 all out in 49 overs (Eraj Jayamanne 67, Kevin Galdeniya 14, Malinda Gunaratne 13, W.C.L. Livingstone 4 for 56, A.M. Norbert 2 for 29) and 179 for 5 wickets in 27.4 overs (Kessin Galdeniya 91, Eraj Jayamanne 41, Malinda Gunaratne 21 not out, W.C.L. Livingstone 2 for 36, C. Chiadston 2 for 35).
