International Tourism and Hospitality Management degrees locally
The British School of Commerce [BSC], a BOI approved venture and a
division of the London School of Commerce (LSC) Group of Colleges,
opened its doors to Sri Lankan students on February 1.
The LSC UK, the parent institution of the BSC has more than 6,000
students from over 130 countries around the globe.
The LSC takes pride in its truly international nature and its ability
to successfully operate in a globalised environment with more than 300
persons working for LSC in Associate Colleges and offices worldwide.
Having its Head Office and the main campus in London, with Associate
Colleges in Belgrade, Nairobi, Dhaka and Kuala Lumpur, the LSC opened in
Colombo, to empower the youth of Sri Lanka, India, Bangladesh, Nepal and
the Maldives, said CEO Thimothy Andradi.
Andradi said that the LSCs Associate College in Kuala Lumpur has
attracted students from 40 countries and has contributed positively to
the economy of Malaysia."
We strongly believe that the BSC in Colombo would positively
contribute to Sri Lanka's economy, by saving a large amount of foreign
exchange whilst attracting a large amount of foreign exchange in to Sri
Lanka by way of foreign students studying at the BSC.
The BSC will offer degree programs as well as foundation programs
that would enable prospective students to plan their higher education
from G.C.E. Ordinary Level, right up to the Master's in Management as
well as IT.
British qualifications are sought after by Sri Lankans and all
undergraduate and postgraduate degrees at BSC are awarded by the
University of Wales Institute, Cardiff, UK.
