Cambrians win by six wickets

Prince of Wales College, Moratuwa beat Janadhipathi Vidyalaya, Rajagiriya by six wickets in their Inter-School Under-13 cricket match played for the Rankekulu Trophy organised by Bank of Ceylon and worked off at Moratuwa.

The visitors batting first were all out for 123 runs with Sitara Situmina claiming 3 for 39 and in reply Cambrians notched up the required score for the loss of four wickets with Ravindu Sasanka making an unbeaten elegant knock of 76 runs with ten hits to the rope and one over. Janadhipathy Vidyalaya: 123 in 22.4 overs (N. Isuranga 22, S. Rasanjana 13, L. Silva 15, Senal de Silva 2/25, Sitara Situmina 3/39, Thilan Kumara 2/14, Isuru Perera 2/32).

Prince of Wales: 124/4 in 22.4 overs (Ravindu Sasanka 76 n.o., Sandun Soysa 23, Thilan Kumara 10 n.o., Akila Siviwardene 10).
