Oracle meets local partners at Applications Day

An initiative to meet future business challenges in Sri Lanka and to take advantage of Oracle's Extensive Product Portfolio

More than 100 customers and partners from leading Sri Lankan organisations along with senior Oracle executives participated at an 'Oracle Applications Day' to discuss the critical role that IT, especially business applications, is playing in helping to build the businesses of the future recently.

Topics included Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Applications Unlimited and Oracle Business Intelligence, their importance to Sri Lankan businesses in the context of new initiatives and best practices.

Oracle Applications that could enable participants to take advantage of Oracle's expanded product portfolio for their specific needs.

Oracle's extensive business applications portfolio provides Oracle a leadership position in business applications across many industries including financial services, manufacturing, distribution, retail and telecommunications.

Oracle Applications Unlimited is Oracle's commitment to customer choice through continuous investment and innovation in current applications offerings. The powerful combination of complete solutions and complete choice drive better business performance and help customers tailor their enterprise business and IT strategy, optimize their IT investments and use IT as a strategic point of differentiation.

When selecting Oracle Application software, customers can choose a single module, a product family, or the entire suite to match their unique business needs. In addition, Oracle Applications can be deployed on-premise, hosted via private or public clouds, or implemented through a hybrid model.
