Interactive game at BIA for cricket enthusiasts

An interactive cricket pitch has been set up at the Bandaranaike International Airport to test the throwing ability of participants. Adding excitement to departing passengers during the Cricket World Cup months.

Passengers who spend/shop at any outlet in the departure lounge of BIA will be entitled to test their throwing skills.

The challenge in this interactive game is to make a perfect throw from a distance of approximately 22 feet to a wicket keeper's glove. Successful participants would walk away with Sri Lanka caps and Sri Lanka mugs.

The game is organised by Airport and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) Ltd. with the participation of Alpha Orient Lanka.

Games of this nature to support a national event like the Cricket World Cup, adds excitement among passengers.

In this 'Visit Sri Lanka Year', we hope to improve the ambience at the airport with such activities for the benefit of international passengers said Deputy Chairman Airport and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) Ltd Kamal Ratwatte at the inauguration of the interactive net.
