Vesak card competition

To mark the 2600th Sambuddhatva Jayanthi Celebrations, our sister newspaper Dinamina has organized a vesak greeting cards designing competition.

A total amount of Rs.500,000 as cash prizes have been offered for contestants.

Rs.150,000 in cash prizes at Rs.10,000 each and certificates for the 15 artists sending in the best creative designs.

Rs.50,000 in cash prizes at Rs.5,000 each and certificates for 10 university students sending in the best creative vesak card designs.

10 photographers submitting the best photographs for the Dinamina Vesak cards will receive cash prizes of Rs.10,000 and a certificate.

50 (male and female) poets sending in the best poetic creations for the vesak cards will receive a memento worth Rs.2,500 each and a certificate.

Ten school children forwarding the best creative designs for Dinamina vesak cards will receive cash prizes of Rs.2,500 each and certificates. A parcel of books worth Rs.5,000 will be donated to each school they represent.

Best creations will be selected by a panel of judges comprising Editors-in-chief of Lake House.
