The houses constructed by the National Housing Development Authority
(NHDA) with the assistance of the temple and its Dayaka Sabhawa in the
village will be donated to 10,210 homeless families under the Sasunen
Sevana housing program, said Construction Engineering Services and
Housing Minister, Wimal Weerawansa.
Sasunen Sevana is part of the one million housing program implemented
by the government. Sasunen Sevana program was launched at 'Mount Temple'
in Gampola under the patronage of Prime Minister D.M. Jayaratna.
