Houses for 10,210 families

The houses constructed by the National Housing Development Authority (NHDA) with the assistance of the temple and its Dayaka Sabhawa in the village will be donated to 10,210 homeless families under the Sasunen Sevana housing program, said Construction Engineering Services and Housing Minister, Wimal Weerawansa.

Sasunen Sevana is part of the one million housing program implemented by the government. Sasunen Sevana program was launched at 'Mount Temple' in Gampola under the patronage of Prime Minister D.M. Jayaratna.

Minister Wimal weerawansa said that the most appropriate contribution to mark the 2600 "Sambuddathva Jayanthiya is to forge a strong relationship trip between the village and the temple.
