Lynn, new Editor of Daily News

Lynn Ockersz will assume duties as Editor of the Daily News from tomorrow.

Ockersz who counts almost 30 years as a print journalist holds a BA Special Degree in English with Sinhala as his Subsidiary from the University of Kelaniya.

He also holds a Post-graduate Diploma in International Affairs from the Bandaranaike Centre for International Studies, Colombo and is a Press Fellow of Wolfson College of the University of Cambridge.

Ockersz was a former Senior Associate Editor of the Daily News . He left the Daily News in July 2007 after serving the newspaper for 15 years.
