21 million servings in 30 days

Staff of Elephant House Ice Cream

April was a month of celebration for Elephant House Ice Cream when 21 million consumers showcased their presence for the brand.

In April, Elephant House Ice Cream recorded sales of two million litres of ice cream, which counts to 21 million servings nationwide.

A key ingredient to its success lies in team work, creating high levels of synergy towards the common goal of serving the nation. Never losing sight of market realities, Elephant House Ice Cream continuously reengineers to reinforce its brand values.

A representative of the company said, "Our success starts at the very root and reaches far beyond those based at our office.

Beginning from our Vanilla farmers in Matale to cashew farmers in Ampara to our Karutha Kollumban farmers in Kilinochchi, everyone is responsible for this achievement, he said.

Elephant House has over 10,000 farmers and over 25,000 retailers in its trade network who are responsible for taking the products closer to the consumer," said Head of Frozen Confectionery Elephant House Jith Guneratne.

Elephant House Ice Cream holds over 47 percent market share in the Maldives, beating many internationally recognised labels.
