Vesak program of Sri Sambodhi Vihara

A special Vesak program organised by the Dayaka Sabha of the Sri Sambodhi Viharaya, Colombo 7 headed by the Defence Secretary, Gotabaya Rajapaksa was launched recently. It will continue full mid June. Most Ven. Udugama Sri Buddharakkitha Maha Nayaka of Asgiriya Chapter and Ven. Pandit Daranagama Kusaladhamma Nayaka Thera, Viharadhipathi, Sri Sambodhi Viharaya and founder chairman of the Bauddhya T.V. channel had extended their patronage to the event.

The program includes the following activities:

Parana Gambhira Abhidarma Sangayanawa daily;

Mal perahera by Security Forces and Police;

Bodhi Pooja pinkamas;

Dhamma desana;

Vesak bhakthi gee presentation; Sri Sambodhi Vesak zone and display of vesak lanterns and other illuminations and Sri Sambodhi Vesak perahera.

The Bauddhaya TV channel and Radio and Neth FM will relay the programme live.
